According to The STORM World Wide Web Page, The Storm, project formed by Foreigner drummer Ron Wikso, keyboardist and vocalist Gregg Rolie (Journey, Santana, Abraxas Pool), bassist Ross Valory (Journey), vocalist Kevin Chalfant (Night Ranger), and guitarist Josh Ramos, is ready to release its second album. Titled "Eye Of Storm", it is scheduled to be released on March 24th under the label Miramar Recordings.

According to Melodic Rock, former Foreigner keyboardist Al Greenwood and Bob Held are producing the debut release of the New York based project Garbo Talks, which will be finished between April and May. Both producers report that it will be killer.

According to The Ultimate Def Leppard Web Site, Clock, current band of former Foreigner drummer Mark Schulman and side project of Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, has been playing in the L.A. area since August 1997 and will be playing at St. Stephens Green, Santa Monica on May 11th, 18th, 25th, and June 1st, and at The Back Room, Beverly Hills on May 13th.

Former Foreigner multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald is trying to release a new solo album by the end of the year, however, there is no signed deal with any record company yet, so it could be released until next year. There will be various guests on lead vocals and instruments, like Foreigner lead vocalist Lou Gramm who will appear in an old song that he and Ian wrote together. Also, Ian probably will ask former Foreigner keyboardist Al Greenwood to do some keyboard work.

According to Melodic Rock, former Foreigner drummer Ron Wikso will be touring this year with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. They are going to Japan and Australia in June, Europe in July, and will probably tour in America starting in September.

According to The Ultimate Def Leppard Web Site, Clock, current band of former Foreigner drummer Mark Schulman and side project of Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, can be seen live again on Saturday, June 13th at St. Stephen's Green in Santa Monica, California. The band turns out to be pretty successful, album sales are going well.

Lou Gramm's health problems update07.26.98
The rumors of ill health about Foreigner lead vocalist Lou Gramm in April 1997 have been confirmed and cleaned by the management of the band, he had a benign brain tumor: "... this past spring, Gramm completed his treatments and was given a clean bill of health by his doctors ...". Lou Gramm: "... fortunately, everything turned out O.K., and I'm back to work with the band ...". Mick Jones: "... I am in awe of the way that he has weathered the storm, and his incredible resolve to fight back and become a sterling example for others who might find themselves in such a terrible predicament ...". Band's management: "... Foreigner will return to the studio in September to begin recording its new album ... the band is expected to launch a world tour in 1999 upon the release ...".

Mick Jones on "The Mick Ronson Memorial Concert" album07.26.98
According to The Ultimate Def Leppard Web Site, the recordings made during the Mick Ronson memorial concert in 1994 are now available. During the concert, several artists played a set of songs with Mick Ronson's old band, so the double CD, titled "The Mick Ronson Memorial Concert", features artists such as Def Leppard members, vocalist Joe Elliott and guitarist Phil Collen, Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones, Ian Hunter, and former The Who vocalist Roger Daltry.
