[ Disc 1 ] [ Disc 2 ]

© 2000 Atlantic Recording Corporation and Rhino Entertainment Company. Compilation produced by Mick Jones, Lou Gramm and David McLees. Engineered by Bill Inglot. Seventh studio compilation, which includes eight notable tracks: two Spooky Tooth songs, "All Sewn Up" from the album "Witness" and "The Hoofer" from "The Mirror"; Foreigner's instrumental "Street Thunder", which was never featured on any other album of the band; three songs taken from the Lou Gramm's solo albums, "Ready Or Not" and "Midnight Blue" from the album "Ready Or Not", and "Just Between You And Me" from "Long Hard Look"; and finally, two songs taken from the Mick Jones' solo album, "Just Wanna Hold" and "Everything That Comes Around". This compilation includes single versions where available, in the most of the cases the difference between the single versions and the original album versions is only the length of the track, they fade out shortly, in some other cases parts of the lyrics were removed from the recording, like on "Feels Like The First Time". The tracks evidently different from the album versions are noted here as "edited". This compilation seems to be available only in U.S.A.

1. "Feels Like The First Time" (edited)
(M. Jones)

I would climb any mountain
Sail across a stormy sea
If that's what it takes me, baby
To show how much you mean to me

And I guess it's just the woman in you
That brings out the man in me
(Oooooh) I know I can't help myself
(Oooooh) You're all in the world to me

It feels like the first time
Feels like the very first time
It feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time

I have waited a lifetime
Spent my time so foolishly
But now that I've found you
Together we'll make history

(Oooooh) And I know it must be the woman in you
(Oooooh) That brings out the man in me
(Aaaaah) I know I can't help myself
(Aaaaah) You're all my eyes can see

And it feels like the first time, like it never I did before (ooh-ooh ooh-ooh oooh)
Feels like the first time, like we've opened up the door
Feels like the first time, like it never will again, never again

It feels like the first time, it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time, very, very, it feels
It feels like the first time, oh it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time

Won't you open up the door? Yeah

Feels like the first time
And it feels like the very first time
And it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time
And it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time
Oh it feels

2. "Long, Long Way From Home" (edited)
(M. Jones / L. Gramm / I. McDonald)

It was a Monday
A day like any other day
I left a small town
For the apple in decay

It was my destiny
It's what we needed to do
They were telling me
I'm telling you

I was inside looking outside
The millions of faces
But still I'm alone
Waiting, hours of waiting
Paying a penance
I was longing for home

I'm looking out for the two of us
I hope we'll be here when they're through with us

I was inside looking outside
Oh the millions of faces
But still I'm alone
Waiting, hours of waiting
I could feel the tension
I was longing for home

I'm looking out for the two of us
And I hope we'll be here when they're through with us

I am longing for home

Monday, sad, sad Monday
She's waiting for me
But I'm a long, long way from home

Sad, sad Monday
She's waiting for me
But I'm a long, long way from home

Sad, sad Monday
Oh she's waiting for me
But I'm a long, long way from home

3. "Cold As Ice"
(M. Jones / L. Gramm)

You're as cold as ice
You're willing to sacrifice our love

You never take advice
Someday you'll pay the price, I know

I've seen it before, it happens all the time
(Oooh-oooh) You're closing the door, you leave the world behind
You're digging for gold, yet throwing away
(Aaah-aaah) A fortune in feelings, but someday you'll pay

You're as cold as ice
You're willing to sacrifice our love

You want paradise
But someday you'll pay the price, I know

I've seen it before, (oooh-oooh) it happens all the time
(Oooh-oooh) You're closing the door, you leave the world behind
You're digging for gold, (aaah-aaah) yet throwing away
(Aaah-aaah) A fortune in feelings, but someday you'll pay

Cold as ice, you know that you are
Cold, cold, as, as, ice, as cold as ice to me
Cold, cold, as, as, ice

Ooh ooh ooh, cold as, cold as
I, i, ice, (you're as cold as ice) yes
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, yes I know
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, you're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, oh yes I know
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, you're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, oh yes I know
(Cold as ice) You're as cold as ice, you're as cold as ice, you're as cold as ice, I know

4. "Headknocker"
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

He drives a '57 coupe
Walks with a stoop
Swears James Dean isn't dead
He's a dedicated rocker
A real headknocker
Don't look at his lady again

'Cause if he catches you messin'
He's gonna teach you a lesson
Don't let me say it again

Headknocker, headknocker
He's comin' on strong, a real showstopper
Headknocker, he might like to fight
Oh but boy does he love to play
Ooh, headknocker, headknocker
Ooh, headknocker

He's got an old fender strat
Plays behind his back
While he sings out Louie, Louie
He's a backseat mauler
A barroom brawler
I think he's gonna blacken your eye

If that don't teach you a lesson
Might show you his Smith & Wesson
Don't let me say it again

Headknocker, headknocker
He's comin' on strong, a real showstopper
Headknocker, he might like to pull around
Ooh baby does he love to play (oooooh-oooooh)
Ooh, oh baby does he love to play (oooooh-oooooh)
Ooh, loves to play, does he love to play (oooooh-oooooh)
Ooh, headknocker, listen to me, oh yeah (oooooh-oooooh)
Ooh, headknocker, I know he loves to play, to play (oooooh-oooooh)
Headknocker

5. "Starrider"
(M. Jones / A. Greenwood)

I stole a ride
On a passing star
Not knowing where I was going
How near or how far

Through years of light
Lands of future and past
Until the heavenly gates
Were sighted at last

Starrider, rider, rider
Take me to the stars
Starrider, rider, rider
Show me where you are

Northern lights flashed by
And then they were gone
And as old stars would die
So the new ones were born

And ever on I sailed
Celestial ways
And in the light of my years
Shone the rest of my days

Speed increasing, all control is in the hands of those who know
Will they help us grow, to one day be starriders?

Starrider, rider, rider
Show me where you are
Starrider, rider, rider
Take me to the stars

Speed increasing, all control is in the hands of those who know
Will they help us grow, to one day be starriders?

6. "At War With The World"
(M. Jones)

Never had no need for any military aid
And I never took charge of the light brigade
I got no castle to defend or attack
But still I seem to be picking up flack

I am the captain of this body of mine
I'll send fear into the enemy lines
On the ground, in the air or at sea
They're all pointing a finger at me

I'm at war with the world
That's the way it must be
Gonna fight while I can
To put an end to this misery

I'm at war with the world, war with the world
I'll have to fight to be free
Yes I'm at war with the world, war with the world
Nobody's capturing me

Never had no need for any military aid
Never took charge of the light brigade
I got no castle to defend or attack
But still I seem to be picking up flack

War with the world, war with the world
I'll have to fight to be be free
Yes I'm at war with the world, war with the world
Nobody's capturing me

War with the world
What do they want from me?
War with the world
Why don't they let me be?

(War with the world) war, war, war with the world
(War with the world) I'll find a way, I'll find a way, I'll find a way
To get some peace in this world
(War with the world) needs some changes made
I fight the world every day
(War with the world) I fight a war with the world
I'll make them understand, so much
(War with the world) so don't push me too far
I mean, I mean don't desert, just don't (war with the world) push me too far

7. "Double Vision"
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

Feeling down 'n' dirty, feeling kinda mean
I've been from one to another extreme
This time I had a good time, ain't got time to wait
I wanna stick around 'till I can't see straight

Fill my eyes with that double vision
No disguise for that double vision
Ooh, when it gets through to me, it's always new to me
My double vision gets the best of me

Never do more than I, I really need
My mind is racing, but my body's in the lead
Tonight's the night, I'm gonna push it to the limit
I live all of my years in a single minute

Fill my eyes with that double vision
No disguise for that double vision
Ooh, when it gets through to me, it's always new to me
My double vision always seems to get the best of me, the best of me, yeah-eah eah-eah-hey

Ooh-ooh (oooh) ooh-ooh, double vision
(Oooh) I need double vision
(Oooh, double vision) it takes me out of my head, takin' me out of my head
(Oooh, double vision) I get my double vision, woa-oah
(Oooh, double vision) seeing double double, double vision
(Oooh, double vision) oh-oh my my double vision
(Oooh, double vision) double vision, yeah-ah-ah eah-eah eah-eah ah
(Oooh, double vision) I get double vision
(Oooh) how, how? Double vision

8. "Blue Morning, Blue Day"
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

Out in the street, it's six am
Another sleepless night
Three cups of coffee but I can't clear my head
From what went down last night
No we won't have our own little ways
But somehow we keep it together
You hear me talk but you don't hear what I say
I guess it don't even matter

Blue morning, blue day, won't you see things my way?
Blue morning, can't you see what your love has done to me?

I've always listened to your point of view
My ways are cut through men
And I've always been a patient man
But my patience has reached its end
You tell me you're leaving, you tell me goodbye
You say you might send a letter
Well honey don't telephone, cause I won't be alone
I need someone to make me feel better

Blue morning, blue day, won't you see things my way?
Blue morning, can't you see what your love has done to me?

Blue morning, blue day, won't you see things my way?
Blue morning, can't you see what your love has done to me?

Blue morning, blue morning
Blue morning, blue morning
Blue morning, blue morning
Blue, blue, blue day, yeah

9. "Hot Blooded" (edited)
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

Well I'm hot blooded, check it and see
I got a fever of a hundred and three
Come on baby, do you do more than dance?
I'm hot blooded, I'm hot blooded

You don't have to read my mind
To know what I have in mind
Honey you oughta know
Now you move so fine
Let me lay it on the line
I wanna know what you're doin' after the show

Now it's up to you, we can make a secret rendezvous
Just me and you, I'll show you lovin' like you never knew

That's why I'm hot blooded, check it and see
Feel the fever burning inside of me
Come on baby, do you do more than dance?
I'm hot blooded, I'm hot blooded, I'm hot

Now it's up to you, can we make a secret rendezvous?
Woah, before we do, you'll have to get away from you know who

Well I'm hot blooded, check it and see
I got a fever of a hundred and three
Come on baby, do you do more than dance?
I'm hot blooded, I'm hot blooded

Hot blooded, I'm a little bit high
Hot blooded, you're a little bit shy
Hot blooded, you're making me sing
Hot blooded, for your (hot blooded) sweet sweet thing
Did you hear what I said?

10. "I Have Waited So Long"
(M. Jones)

I have waited oh so long
Please don't tell me baby I was wrong
Dreaming of you (oooooh) every night
(Oooooh) holding back until the time was right

I've counted the days, day after day, oooh-oooh
Since we've been apart, oooh-oooh, oooh-oooh
Now I've found my way, I've found my way, oooh-oooh
Right back to your heart, oooh-oooh oooh

I've been searching for you every where
Calling you but you were never there
Seeking in the dark of night
Hoping one day you would shine a light

I've counted each day, day after day, oooh-oooh
Since we've been apart, oooh-oooh, oooh-oooh
Now I've found my way, I've found my way, oooh-oooh
Right back to your heart, oooh-oooh oooh

I have waited oh so long
Please don't tell me baby I was wrong
Dreaming of you every night, every night, every night
Holding back until the time was right

I dream of you, I'm dreaming of you baby

Don't go away

11. "Dirty White Boy"
(M. Jones / L. Gramm)

Hey baby if you're feelin' down
I know what's good for you all day

Are you worried what your friends see?
Will it ruin your reputation lovin' me?

'Cause I'm a dirty white boy
Yeah a dirty white boy
A dirty white boy

Don't drive no big black car
Don't like no Hollywood movie star

You want me to be true to you
You don't give a damn what I do to you

I'm just a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy

Well I'm a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, yeah, dirty white boy
A dirty white boy

I've been in trouble since I don't know when

12. "Head Games"
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

Daylight, alright
I don't know, I don't know if it's real
Been a long night and something ain't right
You won't show, you won't show how you feel

No time ever seems right
To talk about the reasons why you and I fight
It's high time to draw the line
Put an end to this game before it's too late

Head games, it's you and me baby
Head games, and I can't take it anymore
Head games, I don't wanna play the
Head games

I daydream, for hours it seems
I keep thinkin' of you, yeah, thinkin' of you
These daydreams, what do they mean?
They keep haunting me, are they warning me?

Daylight turns into night
We try and find the answer but it's nowhere in sight
It's always the same and you know who's to blame
You know what I'm sayin', still we keep on playin'

Head games, that's all I get from you
Head games, and I can't take it anymore
Head games, don't wanna play the
Head games

So near, so far away
We pass each other by 'cause we don't know what to say
It's so clear, I'm sorry to say
But if you wanna win you gotta learn how to play

Head games, always you and me, baby
Head games, 'till I can't take it anymore
Head games, instead of makin' love
Head games, oh

Head games, always you and me baby
Head games, 'till I can't take it anymore, no more
Head games, instead of makin' love, we play
Head games

Head games, in the first degree
Head games, yeah, always you and me
Head games, why do you do it baby?
Head games, you put the ruin on me babe
Head games

13. "Women"
(M. Jones)

Women behind bars
Women in fast cars
Women in distress
Women with no dress
Women in aeroplanes
Women who play games
Women in uniform
See that woman with her clothes torn

Women who satisfy
Women you can't buy
Like the women in magazines
And women in a limousine
Women who sip champagne
Women who feel no pain
Women in a disco
And women who don't wanna know, know, know

Oh, women wanting sympathy
Women feeling ecstacy
Women who live in fantasies
Bringing man to his knees

Women who fall in love
Women who need a shove
Women who can't be beat
Get that woman in the back seat, yeah, yeah
Women in the U.S.A.
Those women steal your heart away
Women into rock 'n' roll
'N' women who steal the show, go, go, go

Women that you write songs about
Women that turn around and kick you out
Women you dream about all your life
Women that stab you in the back with a switchblade knife

Oh women, ooh-ooh ooh-ooh
Talkin' 'bout women
All around the world
Yeah women, oh no, it goes
Talkin' 'bout women
C'mon baby

14. "Rev On The Red Line"
(A. Greenwood / L. Gramm)

Two in a row, everybody knows
At the green light you rev it on the red line
Been waitin' all week, to get my wheels on the street
Get my hands on the wheel, slide down in the seat
She's wearin' new colors and runnin' pretty good
I got four hundred horses tucked under the hood
But there's no need to panic, it's under control
We're aerodynamic and ready to roll

Rev on the red line
You're on your own
Rev on the red line
Just let it go

Runnin' all night on Lake Avenue
It's a piece of cake if you know what to do
You've got to lose a few, 'til the stakes get high
When the odds are right, you just blow by
And make no mistake, there's women who just wait
For the man and machine with the best time

Rev on the red line
You're on your own
Feels like a lifetime, rev on
But soon you'll know

Wasn't long ago, I could've lost my wheels
Had to outrun the law, it was no big deal
I guess they had a grudge, they were hot on my tracks
I had to pay off the judge to get my license back
Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat
Hear my motor screamin' while I'm tearin' up the street

Rev on the red line
You're on your own
(Rev on) rev on the red line
Just let it go

(Rev on) rev on, rev on
(Rev on) don't think I'll ever learn to slow down
(Rev on) you'll still be here and I'll be gone
Rev on, rev on

15. "Break It Up"
(M. Jones)

Made myself a prisoner
I locked myself away
Can't remember the last time
I saw the light of day

Don't want to face life
Feel I've been betrayed
I want you to tell me
Where our love went astray

So can't you wait, one more minute?
Why can't you wait, one more day?
Let's get it straight, 'cause it's a big mistake
You better think about it

I don't want to break it up, ah-ah-aah
Why do we have to break it up? Ah-ah-aah
Never ever want to break it up, (ah-ah-aah) oh no
(Ooh-ooh-ooh) I only wanna, make it up tonight, ah-ah-aah-aaah

You say you've thought about it
But you sound so cold
You make it look like our love
Can be bought or sold

(Aaaaah-aaah) you won't listen
You say it's way too late
(Aaaaah-aaah) that something is missing
And now you just can't wait

Why can't you wait one more minute?
Why can't you wait? Give me one more day
Let's get it straight, this is a big mistake
We better think about it

I don't want to break it up, ah-ah-aah
Why do we have to break it up? Ah-ah-aah
Never ever want to break it up, (ah-ah-aah) oh no
I only wanna, (ooh-ooh-ooh) make it up tonight

So don't say break it up, (ah-ah-aah) break it up
I wanna hear you say we'll make it up, (ah-ah-aah) make it up
I don't want to break it up, (ah-ah-aah) ooh baby
Why can't we, (ooh-ooh-ooh) make it up tonight?
Make it up tonight? Make it up tonight?

And I ask myself, what's wrong with me?
How could I be so blind?
I know she tried to give me everything
But I still couldn't see
Now as I watch our love slip away
I'm begging you, begging you, please

Don't break it up, break it up
Take a little time and make it up, make it up
I don't want to break it up, (ah-ah-aah) oh no
(Ooh-ooh-ooh) I only wanna make it up tonight, ah-ah-aah, ah-ah-aah
I don't want to break it up, ah-ah-aah
Baby let me make it up, ooh-ooh-ooh
Oh no no, ah-ah-aah, no no
Ah-ah-aah, (I) ah-ah-aah, don't want to break it up, oh no
Not tonight, ah-ah-aah
Make it up, (only make it up) ah-ah-aah, oh yeah
Only make it up, ah-ah-aah, make it, make it up
Ooh, ah-ah-aah

16. "Juke Box Hero" (edited)
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

Standing in the rain, with his head hung low
Couldn't get a ticket, it was a sold out show
Heard the roar of the crowd, he could picture the scene
Put his ear to the wall, then like a distant scream

He heard one guitar, just blew him away
He saw stars in his eyes, and the very next day
Bought a beat up six string, in a secondhand store
Didn't know how to play it, but he knew for sure

That one guitar, felt good in his hands
Didn't take long, to understand
Just one guitar, slung way down low
Was a one way ticket, only one way to go

So he started rockin'
Ain't never gonna stop
Gotta keep on rockin'
Someday gonna make it to the top

And be a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes
He's a juke box hero, he took one guitar
Juke box hero, stars in his eyes
Juke box hero, (stars in his eyes)
He'll come alive tonight

In a town without a name, in a heavy downpour
Thought he passed his own shadow, by the backstage door
Like a trip through the past, to that day in the rain
And that one guitar, made his whole life change

Now he needs to keep on rockin'
He just can't stop
Gotta keep on rockin'
That boy has got to stay on top

And be a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes
He's a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes
Yeah, juke box hero, stars in his eyes
With that one guitar, (stars in his eyes)
He'll come alive, come alive tonight

Woah

Yeah, he's gotta keep on rockin'
Just can't stop
Gotta keep on rockin'
That boy has got to stay on top

And be a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes
He's just a juke box hero, aah aah aaah
Juke box (stars) hero, (stars, stars) juke box hero, (stars, stars) he's got stars in his eyes
Stars in his eyes

17. "Luanne" (edited)
(L. Gramm / M. Jones)

Luanne, Luanne
Why do you run and hide?
Luanne, Luanne
Don't keep your love inside

I wait around for you after school
You slip away and I don't see you
Don't know what I'm gonna do
If you can't see how much I need you

We met, one day
And then, you ran away
I've searched the whole town looking for you
I know you're there somewhere

Luanne, Luanne
Why do you run and hide?
Luanne, Luanne
Don't keep your love inside

I write letters that I never send
I keep the words to whisper to you someday
I don't know where and I don't know when
Luanne I'm gonna get to you someway

I want, to feel
Your love so close to me
Give me just half a chance
To prove myself, I need to

Luanne, Luanne
Why do you run and hide?
Luanne, Luanne
Don't keep your love inside

These days, true love is so hard to find
Someday, I know you're gonna be mine
Luanne, Luanne, Luanne, oh-ooh-oooh

Luanne, Luanne, Luanne, Luanne
Why do you run and hide?
Luanne, Luanne, Luanne, Luanne
Don't keep your love inside

Luanne, Luanne, Luanne, Luanne
(Ooh-oooh) I wanna be beside you, can't you understand?
Luanne, Luanne, Luanne, Luanne
Give me a little of love, I know you can

Luanne, eh Luanne?
Can't you hear me calling, Luanne?

18. "Urgent"
(M. Jones)

You're not shy, you get around
You wanna fly, don't want your feet on the ground
You stay up, you won't come down
You wanna live, you wanna move to the sound

Got fire, in your veins
Burnin' hot, but you don't feel the pain
Your desire, is insane
You can't stop, until you do it again

But sometimes I wonder as I look in your eyes
That maybe you're thinking of some other guy
But I know, yes I know, how to treat you right
That's why you call me in the middle of the night

You say it's urgent, so urgent
So-oh-oh urgent...
Just you wait and see, how urgent
My love can be, it's urgent...

You play tricks, on my mind
You're everywhere, but you're so hard to find
You're not warm, or sentimental
You're so extreme, you can be so temperamental

But I'm not looking for a love that will last
I know what I need and I need it fast
Yeah, there's one thing in common that we both share
That's a need for for each other anytime, anywhere

It gets so urgent, so urgent
You know it's, urgent
I wanna tell you it's the same for me, ooh-oooh
So-oh-oh urgent...
Just you wait and see, how urgent
Our love can be, it's urgent...

You say it's urgent
Make it fast, make it urgent
Do it quick, do it urgent
Gotta rush, make it urgent...
Want it quick
Urgent, urgent, emergency
Urgent, urgent, emergency
Urgent, urgent, urgent, urgent, emergency
Urgent, urgent, urgent, urgent, emergency
So urgent, emergency
Emer ooh-oooh, emer ooh-oooh, emer ooh-oooh
It's urgent...
So urgent

19. "Waiting For A Girl Like You" (edited)
(M. Jones / L. Gramm)

So long
I've been looking too hard, I've waiting too long
Sometimes I don't know what I will find
I only know it's a matter of time

When you love someone
When you love someone

It feels so right, so warm and true
I need to know if you feel it too

(Aaah-aaah) maybe I'm wrong
(Aaah-aaah) won't you tell me if I'm coming on too strong?
(Aaah-aaah) this heart of mine has been hurt before
(Aaah-aaah) this time I wanna be sure

I've been waiting, for a girl like you (you-ooh-ooh) to come into my life, life
I've been waiting, for a girl like you, (waiting for a girl) and a love that will survive
I've been waiting (I've been waiting) for someone new (new) to make me feel alive, ah-ah
Yeah, waiting for a girl like you (waiting for a girl) to come into my life

Aaah-aaah
Aaah-aaah

You're so good
When we make love it's understood
It's more than a touch or a word we say
Only in dreams could it be this way

When you love someone
Yeah, really love someone

(Aaah-aaah) now I know it's right
(Aaah-aaah) from the moment I wake up till deep in the night
(Aaah-aaah) there's no where on earth that I'd rather be
(Aaah-aaah) than holding you, tenderly

I've been waiting, for a girl like you (you-ooh-ooh) to come into my life, life
I've been waiting, for a girl like you, (waiting for a girl) and a love that will survive
I've been waiting (I've been waiting) for someone new (new) to make me feel alive, ah-ah
Yeah, waiting (waiting) for a girl like you (waiting for a girl) to come into my life

Oooh-oooh, oooh-oooh, I've been waiting
Aaah-aaah, (waiting for you) oooh-oooh, oooh
I've been waiting for a girl like you, I've been waiting
Won't you come into my life? (Life?) My life?
(It's been so long) I've been waiting for a girl like you
I've been waiting so long, (I've been waiting) oh-oh

20. "All Sewn Up"
(M. Jones / G. Wright)

Wooh-ooh ooh-oooh
Mmm-mmm mmm-mmm

We got it all sewn up
Taking it easy
We got it all worked out
Don't have to please me
We got it all sewn up

Take my hand, lead me
Feed my heart with your love
Take my mind, believe me
Nothing you could ever do could deceive me

Don't you know?

We got it all sewn up
Taking it easy, mmm-mmm
We got it all worked out
Don't have to please me, mmm-mmm
We got it all sewn up

Right or wrong, we're together
It feels like it's working out fine
We can go on, forever
Everyday is feeling, so much better

Don't you know?

We got it all sewn up
Taking it easy
We got it all worked out
Don't have to please me, wooh-ooh ooh-oooh
We got it all sewn up

We don't depend on nothing to get by
What we do we see eye to eye
We live for the day our love will survive
And I'm going to both till the day that we die

Mmm-mmm mmm-mmm
Wooh-oooh

Wooh

We got it all sewn up
Taking it easy
We got it all worked out
Don't have to please me, wooh-oooh

We got it all sewn up
Taking it easy, wooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
We got it all worked out
Don't have to please me, wooh-oooh

We got it all sewn up
Taking it easy
We got it all worked out
Don't have to please me

21. "The Hoofer"
(M. Patto)

What's coming down
Don't look good to me
It's definable as critical
In webster's dictionary

But let's just say I got a feeling
That when this stuff hits the ceiling

At no time will my feet leave my ankles
At no time will my feet leave my ankles

I don't need
Really all that much
Big limousines and movie queens
Don't get me going as such

But when I can't vote for a president
And be total sure that he ain't bent

At no time will my feet leave my ankles

So I break off
Yeah I just take off
Anything that's bothering me
Sing you a love song
Hope it ain't long
Before the roses bloom
In the afternoon
We're gonna see them soon

If you don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down
Don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down, ah-ah ah-aaah

So I break off
Yeah I just take off
Anything that's bothering me
Sing you a love song
Hope it ain't long
Before the roses bloom
In the afternoon
We're gonna see them soon

If you don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down
Don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down, no no
Don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down
Don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down, get you down
Don't let them get you down, get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down
Don't let them get you down, don't let them get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown, get you down
